Day Geckos are active during the day, unlike most other geckos (hence, the name). They are generally fairly fragile and it is not a good idea to handle them as their skin is quite delicate. They can be quite territorial and sometimes need to be housed singly. For owners with no experience with day geckos, we recommend Giant Day Geckos, Gold Dust Day Geckos, or Lined Day Geckos.
