Information and Care Sheet for the William's Blue Cave Gecko
William's Blue Cave Geckos (Lygodactylus williamsi) are a blue-green arboreal dwarf gecko that can only be found in a small tropical forest in Tanzania and Kimboza. Males are territorial, so keep them separated or keep them in a large enclosure with lots of hiding places to minimize encounters. Males are bright blue with a black throat and visible preanal pores and hemipenile bulges. The females are greenisch with a copperish shade and have almost no black on the throat, just a few stripes on the throat. Females can easily be confused with juvenile males that are also green, sometimes with a blueish cast.

Feeding Your Blue Cave Gecko
Fruit flies, small crickets (calcium & D3 dusted), phelsuma fruit & honey mixture (mixed fruit, fruit baby food, honey, vitamins)
Caging Requirements for Your Blue Cave Gecko
Housing/Habitat: A vertical orientated tropical terrarium with lots of branches and plants.
Temperature: 78-85°F and a dry, sunny place for basking.
Humidity: 50-80% humidity (misting provides drinking water)
Lighting: UV lighting should be provided
