IMPORTANT NOTE: If you work Monday through Friday and can't be home in the morning to receive your package, you can tell us to leave it at your nearest FedEx facility for you to pick up after work. Best of all, it does not void your guarantee!
Shipping Schedule:
For normal Weekday shipping orders, here is our shipping schedule:
Orders Placed on...
Sunday - Delivered on Tuesday morning
Monday - Delivered on Wednesday morning
Tuesday - Delivered on Thursday morning
Wednesday - Delivered on Friday morning
Thursday - Delivered the following Tuesday morning
Friday - Delivered the following Tuesday morning
Saturday - Delivered the following Tuesday morning
You can request any day for delivery but we will not "hold" an animal for you. If we have the animal on the requested day, we will ship one to you. Just put your desired delivery day in the comments section when you order.
Saturday Delivery - We must receive your order on Thursday by midnight in order to be processed for Saturday delivery. DO NOT wait until Friday to place your order.
You will receive a Tracking number the evening that your package has been shipped. You should use this number when contacfing FedEx if your order does not arrive promptly.
If there is a problem with your order or we are out of stock on something you ordered, your order WILL BE DELAYED so that we can communicate through email with you. Also be aware that Monday is a very busy day for us and we sometimes do not ship orders on Monday. You may be notified Monday afternoon if your order is not going out until Tuesday. We apologize for the inconvenience.
About Our Shipping Standards:
All animal shipments are recemmended to be shipped Priority Overnight directly to your door.
Our packing standards are the highest in the industry. We don't throw your order together with cheap supplies and hope for the best. We expect a successful animal delivery and it starts with proper packaging. We have three full-time expert packers with 30 years of experience between them. Two of them have been with us for 17 years each. They inspect every box before it is closed up.
- We use the smallest sized cardboard boxes for the order and they are lined with all-weather insulation.
- Depending on the animal, we use appropriately sized cups, plastic bags and cloth bags to fit the animal in nice and snug.
- We add things like water, paper towels, moss, etc. depending on the animal for added comfort.
- We utilize hot and cold packs (at no extra charge) when appropriate depending on weather conditions.
- We fill all loose space with newspaper to ensure your animals don't get shaken around any more than necessary.
- We have all the appropriate labels on the box so the shipping carrier will hopefully handle your package in a professional and courteous manner.
Hopefully you can get a good idea from this to see why our shipping fees are what they are. We use only the best to ensure a succcessful delivery.

Carrier Errors:
We do not guarantee any problems related to mistakes made by FedEx or UPS. We expect you to contact us first on the day your shipment arrives (or is supposed to arrive). If the problem was caused by a Shipper Handling Error, we will instruct you to contact FedEx or UPS to file a claim.
International Customers:
We use ShipReptiles.com to get our animals to our overseas customers. If you are interested, ask them for a quote. When you are ready, submit you order on our website and tell us to ship it to them. NOTE: It is usually not less than $500!
Cancellations:
You may cancel your order prior to shipping and receive a full refund. Orders that have already been shipped will be considered a completed transaction and no refund will be offered.
