Information and Care Sheet for the Reticulated Python, White Albino
The Albino Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus) is a species of python found in Southeast Asia. They are the world's longest snakes and longest reptile, but are not the most heavily built. They can make good captives, but keepers should have previous experience with such large constrictors to ensure safety to both animal and keeper. The color pattern is a complex geometric pattern that incorporates different colors. The back typically has a series of irregular diamond shapes which are flanked by smaller markings with light centers.

Average 14 - 18', but many will exceed 20'
Feeding Albino Reticulated Pythons
Reticulated Pythons can be fed on an appropriately sized mouse or rat once every week. The food offered should be roughly the thickness of the snake at the centre of its length.
Caging Requirements for an Albino Reticulated Python
Housing/Habitat: Provide a spacious cage (they grow quickly!) and a substrate of aspen or wood mulch at least 2” deep. A small, heavy bowl of fresh water and shelter, such as a hollow log or concave rock or plastic “cave” are the three essential pieces of cage furniture.
Temperature: A hot spot of almost 90F should be provided at one end.
Humidity: Mist if shedding problems occur.
